Family home for rent on the Ile de Re – An authentic and warm place to live

We are renting our family home for a few weeks: a real cocoon lived in all year round, located in La Flotte, in the heart of the Ile de Re. Here, no impersonal decor, but a lively house, full of charm, with its garden, its animals and its warm atmosphere.

Some private rooms will remain closed, but everything you need is at your disposal to fully enjoy the place.

A house with (adorable) animals
Our two cats, Melba and Linky, live freely in the house and garden. They are gentle and accustomed to human presence. If you love animals, you'll be delighted with their company!
Chickens and a guinea pig live peacefully in their outdoor space, as do our fish in the garden pond.

We will drop by from time to time (discreetly) to feed them and maintain the exteriors.

A shared space, in all simplicity
A separate outbuilding is rented separately on the property. It has its own access. The garden is spacious and allows everyone to enjoy their own relaxation area, while respecting everyone.

What we are looking for
People who will appreciate a warm home, the charm of everyday life, the calm of the garden... and the presence of animals. If you are looking for a lively place where you feel good from the moment you arrive, you are in the right place!

The peaceful and picturesque area allows quick access to the cycle paths that crisscross the island, offering magnificent walks between vineyards and the ocean. Nearby shops, restaurants and historic sites such as the Abbaye des Chateliers are easily accessible, making this location a major asset.
