This pretty fisherman's house with typical Retais charm is ideal for discovering and enjoying the gentle way of life on the Ile de Re with family or friends.
The house is located in the heart of the village of La Couarde in one of its prettiest alleys. The shops on the pedestrian street are just a stone's throw away, the Marché du Mail is at the end of the alley and the magnificent beaches are less than five hundred meters away on foot.
La Maison des Pecheurs is easy to live in, pleasant and comfortable. Its decoration and furniture were found on the Ile de Re. The bedding is new.

Well laid out, it offers on the ground floor: a living room and a perfectly equipped American kitchen with a dining area opening onto a charming courtyard ideal for relaxing.
Upstairs: two beautiful bright bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. This room also houses a small laundry area (washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes dryer).
2 adult bicycles (men/women) are at your disposal.

- Bedroom on the courtyard: a double bed 160
- Bedroom on the alley: two single beds 80 (possibility of joining them to make a 160 bed)

The house has all the necessary equipment to allow you to make the most of your stay (Android TV, fiber box, washer-dryer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee maker, oven, microwave, kettle, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, deckchairs, garden furniture, ...).

La Couarde is a charming and authentic family village where life is good. You will be won over by its privileged location in the heart of the island, its flowery alleys, its old houses, its small port of Goisil, its beaches as far as the eye can see and its dunes lined with pines and tamarinds.
Water lovers will be delighted: sailing, kite-surfing, stand-up paddle, fishing on foot... La Pergola beach is a reference surf spot. A coastal path along the dune allows you to follow the beach with a breathtaking view of the Pertuis d'Antioche.
The many cycle paths starting from the village offer superb bike rides through the vineyards, forests and salt marshes to Ars en Re, Saint Martin de Re, le Bois Plage, la Flotte...
The village also has many activities and services (tennis club, sailing club, nautical base, skate park, pony club, cinema, library...), pretty shops, as well as a lively quality market.
