Large charming house with its dependency and swimming pool in Loix

The large house and its outbuilding are warm, pleasant to live in and functional. The largest is our year-round home so everything is very comfortable.


In the large house (200m2), there are 4 bedrooms:
- The South, master bedroom (30m2 / 180x200 bed), its bathroom, its dressing room, its gym and its private south-facing terrace overlooking the garden.
The Laurier bedroom (140x200 bed) which overlooks the swimming pool, with its bathroom
- The Figuier bedroom (160x200 bed or 2 small beds) with its shower room and its private terrace overlooking another part of the garden
- The child's bedroom with 1 bed (90x190). Possibility of adding another one.

There is also a second living room/games room overlooking the main terrace. And also a laundry room.

The 3 independent living areas open onto a large living room (with kitchen, living room, TV area).

This house therefore has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets (including 1 independent).
Ideal for 2 or 3 families.

In the outbuilding (75m2), there are 2 bedrooms:
- The Zen room (160x200 bed), with its bathroom
- The Cosy room (large 160x200 bed or 2 small beds) a third bed, with its bathroom (with Italian shower)

2 toilets, a living room, an American kitchen, a small office and a private terrace facing south onto the garden.
We designed the small house with openings (blinds) in almost all the rooms to bathe it in light and see the garden wherever you are.
Ideal for 1 additional family.

In total for the two houses, there are 5 large double bedrooms and 1 child's bedroom (one bed).

Last winter, we did some work to further improve the large house (changing all the frames - sliding door opening onto the garden, bioclimatic pergola, new living room, outdoor kitchen, etc.)

The two houses are ideal for up to 4 couples (or 8 adults) and/or 6 children. So 12 people maximum.

The 2000m2 garden is very pleasant to live in for adults and children. There are games, ping-pong table, paddle, etc.

The 10mx4m heated swimming pool with submerged shutter and its wooden terrace.

We have a large permaculture field at the end of the garden.

The house is at the edge of the village, on the sea side (3/5 minutes walk) and the Fier d'Ars (where the fauna and flora are magnificent), in a very quiet area. It is nevertheless close to the village center (5 minutes walk).

In the summer we only rent for two weeks and ideally 3 weeks.

There are our two adorable cats (Paula and Satine) who are on site. They are independent thanks to the cat flap.
Please just feed them.

Mansouria, the person who takes care of our house can clean and prepare good meals for your arrival or during your stay.

Our two sons (19 years old and 12 years old) provide their games, toys and books.

We can lend you baby accessories (travel cot, high chair, playpen, etc.)

All the beds are new or recent and of excellent quality.

The outdoor kitchen has just been finished (electric griddle, fridge...)

All Saints' Day holidays: 3500Euros

May and June: 4000Euros/week
High season: from 6000Euros to 7000Euros/week

Package of 160 euros for cleaning in addition to be expected for both houses.

In the summer we only rent fortnightly and ideally 3 weeks.

Sheets and towels can be borrowed if necessary, package 10Euros/person or please bring your own sheets and towels.

30% deposit to be paid to block the house.

The village of Loix is, for many, the friendliest of the island of Re. In summer, there are not the crowds of most villages. Its surroundings are magnificent. The market is open every morning (fishmonger, butcher, bakery, fruit and vegetables ...)

In the craft village of Loix, a superb sports complex awaits you with clay tennis courts; squash, gym, club house, etc.
As well as shops and art galleries.


There are 100km of cycle paths on the island and we can rent our bikes to you at a moderate price. Our two sons (12 and 5) provide their toys and books.
