With 100 km of coastline, the beaches of the Ile de Re are among the most beautiful in Europe. The ocean and its long stretches of fine sand are available to everyone, families, sports enthusiasts, sun lovers. Everyone will find something for them, swimming, surfing, sailing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, beach games and relaxing.

The island has 140 km of secure cycle paths. A real treat for amateur cyclists
It is a flat area, so easy to make nature getaways with the family and discover the coast and its riches

It is on this paradise that we offer you to rent our house. It is a family home, in which we often come and which we love infinitely.
It is located in the magnificent village of Ars en Re, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
It is in the center of the village, quiet, 5 minutes walk from the church, shops, its famous market, its restaurants and its terraces on the port. 5 minutes by bike from the dunes, beaches and cycle paths.

Recently restored, it is very spacious, offering more than 200 m2, and overlooks a lovely flowered interior courtyard where you can have a drink or meals with family or friends and of course sunbathe away from prying eyes

On the ground floor:

5 rooms: An entrance with separate toilet and a professional Bonzini table football for wild games, then in a row 4 large bright rooms including a dining room for 8 to 10 people, a first living room with 2 sofas and a beautiful old fireplace then a second living room with a baby grand piano.
Finally a very large fully equipped kitchen

All these rooms have direct access to the courtyard.

Upstairs:

Four large bedrooms with very good quality bedding, (The double beds can of course be pushed together to make a large bed) two shower rooms and separate toilets.

Household linen is provided

Fiber optics is deployed

For your meals in the courtyard you can use: a stone fireplace, a Weber barbecue, and sit around 2 tables (8 or 4 people),
5 deckchairs and a parasol are also at your disposal.

Arrival and departure are managed by Antoine our host.

There are many activities on the island: tennis, mini golf, swimming school for the little ones, sailing or kite surfing for the older ones, boat rental, yoga, horse riding etc...

Shops are accessible on foot or by bike: supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, clothing and decoration shops, doctor and osteopath, ATM, and of course the famous Ars market renowned throughout the island (local producers, summer clothes - little dresses, little tops....., artisans)

Frequent bus service to and from the SNCF train station in La Rochelle


Rental of one week minimum throughout the year and 2 weeks only for the first half of August.

The house has 8 beds divided into 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with a double bed of 160X200 and 2 other bedrooms with in one 2 beds of 80 X200 and in the other 2 beds of 90 X190 (if necessary these beds can be brought together to make beds for 2 people)
1 extra bed can be added if necessary (1 person), and an old baby bed is installed in the parents bedroom .

The equipment is very complete: Electric pyrolytic oven; induction hob; extractor hood; microwave oven ; dishwasher ; refrigerator - freezer - toaster, Nespresso, etc ...
Television, wifi fiber, telephone - iron; washing machine and dryer ......................
