With 100 km of coastline, the beaches of Île de Ré are among the most beautiful in Europe. The ocean and its long stretches of fine sand are available to everyone: families, sports enthusiasts, and sunbathers. There's something for everyone: swimming, surfing, sailing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, beach games, and relaxation. The island boasts 140 km of safe cycle paths. A real treat for amateur cyclists! It's a flat island, making it easy to enjoy nature getaways with the family and discover the coast and its treasures. It is in this paradise that we offer you the opportunity to rent our house. It's a family home, where we often come and which we love dearly. It is located in the magnificent village of Ars-en-Ré, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
It is in the centre of the village, in a quiet location, a 5 minute walk from the church, shops, its famous market, its restaurants and its terraces on the port. A 5-minute bike ride from the dunes, beaches, and cycle paths.

Recently restored, it is very spacious, offering over 200 m2, and opens onto a charming, flower-filled courtyard where you can enjoy a drink or meals with family or friends and, of course, sunbathe in complete privacy.

On the ground floor:

5 rooms: An entrance hall with a separate toilet and a professional Bonzini foosball table for some exciting matches, then, in succession, 4 large, bright rooms including a dining room for 8 to 10 people, a first living room with 2 sofas and a beautiful antique fireplace, and then a second living room with a baby grand piano.
Finally, a very large, fully equipped kitchen.

All these rooms have direct access to the courtyard.

Upstairs:

Four large bedrooms with very good quality bedding, (The beds Double beds can of course be pushed together to make a large bed) two shower rooms and separate toilets

For your meals in the courtyard you can use: a stone fireplace, a Weber barbecue, and sit around 2 tables (8 or 4 people),
5 sun loungers and a parasol are also at your disposal. Arrival and departure are managed by Antoine, our host. There are many activities on the island: tennis, mini-golf, swimming lessons for children, sailing or kitesurfing for adults, boat rentals, yoga, horseback riding, etc. Shops are accessible on foot or by bicycle: supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, clothing and home decor shops, doctor and osteopath, ATM, and of course the famous Ars market, renowned throughout the island (local producers, summer clothes - dresses, tops, etc., artisans). Bicycle rental is 50 meters from the house (0546292088 - www.lescyclesn.com). Several parking lots are very close by. Frequent bus service runs to and from La Rochelle train station. Minimum rental period of one week throughout the year and two weeks only during the first two weeks of August.

The house has 8 beds divided into 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with a double bed of 160X200 and 2 other bedrooms with in one 2 beds of 80 X200 and in the other 2 beds of 90 X190 (if necessary these beds can be brought together to make beds for 2 people)
1 extra bed can be added if necessary (1 person), and an old baby bed is installed in the parents bedroom .

The equipment is very complete: Electric pyrolytic oven; induction hob; extractor hood; microwave oven ; dishwasher ; refrigerator - freezer - toaster, Nespresso, etc ...
Television, wifi fiber, telephone - iron; washing machine and dryer ......................
