The apartment is in the heart of St Martin, a charming port and capital of the island of Re. It is close to other charming villages and the splendid beaches of Bois Plage and La Couarde sur Mer. cycle paths all over the island.
The city of Saint Martin de Re was fortified by Vauban. Surrounded by ramparts, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
The Citadel, currently a prison, was a place of transit for the outlaws leaving for the Cayenne penal colony .
St Martin is today a village of incomparable charm, a must-see town resort and promenade.

This site, steeped in history, is also a place of relaxation and pleasure. The city center (2 min on foot) is lively whatever the time of day.

We like St Martin to stroll along the port, take the time to live, put down your bike and go eat an ice cream, drink a drink while dreaming in front of the boats, go shopping on the way back from the beach, go for a walk in the morning (and in the evening in summer) and go out in the evening ... Island .

A shopping area with several supermarkets is located on the outskirts to the east of the village.
